At Urban Movement Dance Academy, we offer a variety of dance genres including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and acro & tumbling. We believe that dance is not just a form of exercise, but a way to express your inner self and connect with others. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every step of the way, helping you to unlock your full potential and unleash your inner artist. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students of all ages and skill levels can explore their creativity and develop their dance skills. We offer a range of classes that cater to different interests and abilities, and we are dedicated to helping each student achieve their goals.

2022-2023
It is our second season opened and we are looking to kick it off stronger than ever! Our season begins August 8th! Come visit us and enjoy free trial classes to see what we have to offer. We guarantee to provide your child the highest level of dance education while insuring a safe & friendly environment! We have added new contemporary classes, hip hop teams, and are ecstatic to introduce beginner tap! Join us this season and get ready for a ton of growth, friendships, memories, and opportunities!
SUMMER 2022
Our season will be coming to a close May 28th but that doesn't mean we stop training! The month of June brings great opportunities to do so. Not part of our academy? Not a problem...everyone is welcomed! Come train over the summer as we are trying to bring the best opportunities to the Sun City! First up, the week of June 13th....Arletta Anderson from Ground Grooves out of LA! This will be an amazing 3 day intensive focusing on floor work. We will then have Dario Boatner visiting for a Hip Hop Masterclass. So if you are not traveling out of El Paso for summer intensives don't worry Urban Movement is bringing you that out of town experience without setting a foot out of our lovely city! OURÂ NONPROFITÂ ORGANIZATION
We are pleased to announce the creation of our nonprofit organization: The Urban Institute of Dance and Performing Arts. At UMDA we strive to provide quality, all-inclusive dance education to our students regardless of whether they choose to pursue the art professionally or not. With the creation of UIDPA our goal is to have a larger impact in our El Paso Community and provide greater opportunities to our city’s youth.  Thank you to all our supporters! More news and website to follow.
